Great Lakes only compounds the problems we are starting to see with the low water levels in the lake; they are reaching historic lows and appear to be going lower.

Black Sox scandal has been
baseball's darkest hour.

Chicago White Sox were charged with conspiring to throw the
World Series against
Cincinnati. They later became known as the "
Black Sox" and were banned from baseball for life by the game's first commissioner,
Kenesaw Mountain Landis.

Red Sox (eight seasons),
Angels (two) and
Mets (two). While with the Red Sox in 1995, he was voted the
American League's Most Valuable Player. He played in three
